MARY'S HOPE SOBER HOME
The mission at Mary’s Hope Sober Home is to provide safe affordable housing for adults recovering from substance abuse for the past 16 years. They assist those in need by teaching necessary life skills that foster long-term sobriety by offering comprehensive support, supplemental care, and services.
Reverend Steven Lee reached out to us to help make these gentlemen’s lives a bit easier while going through their recovery. We, at Elsie Joss, wanted to help by making a pledge with new underwear and antibacterial face mask so they can have the supplies they were missing and to keep them safe.
KIEN LUONG PRIMARY SCHOOL 2
Children attending the Kien Luong Primary School 2 are one of the poorest students within the Kien Giang Province. Most of these children lack the basic necessities such as proper clothing, especially underwear. Thus, many go without them.
Upon hearing about their living conditions, we wanted to give them the basic necessities they need. Hence, we made a pledge to donate underwear and clothing until their needs are met.
KIEN BINH DISTRICT WOMEN'S ASSOCIATION
The Kien Binh District Women’s Association is an organization that represents the interest of less fortunate women within the Kien Giang province. Through their programs, they seek to help these women find jobs, educate them, and to create solidarity through the organization of a women’s union group to make their lives better.
We aim to assist these strong women though our “Pass the Love “program so they can have the clothing items they are in need of.
